LeShaun, better known as 'Precious' is an artist from Roseau,Commonwealth of Dominica. Though she spent most of her life in her home country, the few years that she lived in the British Virgin Islands(BVI) taught her so much about art and culture at a young age. Since then, she developed a love for travel and Art. Precious joined the Waitukubuli Artist Association (WAA) in 2018 and worked on prominent projects such as the DOMINICA installation on the Dame Mary Eugenia Charles boulevard, the Welcome to Mero Beach sign, painting of the 2020 queen contestants opening wear and statement murals around Dominica. Precious also has a few wooden crafts at the InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa formerly known as Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski. She has taken part in several exhibitions over the years and hopes to put on a solo exhibition in the near future.Though she is still exploring what sort of art she wishes to specialize in, abstract realism, cubism and expressionism are among her favorites. There's something about perspective, creativity & culture that when brought together births art that is unique yet familiar. This is what Precious hopes to do with each art piece she creates; to leave the audience with a feeling of familiarity yet fascination and even a bit of perplexity.
